This is a map generated using GPS data of my average drive from school to work. This was done using a phone application called "My Tracks" and converting the resultant KMZ file to a GPX file to be posted on an ESRI online map.

Brockton Fire Station Response Times
By analyzing the service areas of Brockton fire stations this map shows the average response time areas for the city. Green indicates a 5-minute response time. Yellow indicates a 10-minute response time. Orange indicates a 15-minute response time. And finally red indicates a 20 minute response time. The map on the left shows that a vast majority of the city is within the 5-minute response window with the remaining falling into the 10-minute response window. the map on the right indicates the same data processed if there was a need to close down one of the fire stations. I chose the centrally located Fire station because even with its removal the response times remain mostly within the 5-minute window.
